Don’t Make the Same Mistakes the Gym Gunman Made

By now everybody is talking about the tragedy at the L.A. Fitness Club in Pennsylvania a few days ago…

And a tragedy it is… my heart goes out to the victims and their friends and families.

After something like this, we are left wondering what the heck happened? Well, I took a quick look at the shooter’s blog, videos and pictures.

Here’s the thing… the guy looks OK. He had a house and a good looking car. He had a job. He made an effort to be in shape. He dressed well and practiced good hygiene habits.

So what was his problem?

Why did the 48 year old guy hate women so much? Well, first of all, reading quickly through his blog (which was depressing as all get out)… you find that he hasn’t been with a women in 19 years. He felt sorry for himself… he was angry at his dad… and so on…

Now speaking for myself… I got over the lack of approval of my dad when I was in my early 20s… decades ago.

In short, this guy probably never sought any help… never tried to improve his social skills… so he was left with his mind… feeling like he was rejected…

And even though I am no social scientist or Psychologist… I can tell you that other than something wrong with the way his brain was wired… every negative thoughts that he put in his head… was his fault.

That’s right… if you loath yourself long enough… if you feel sorry for yourself long enough… if you actually believe something is true… guess what? It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy!

So this shooter put all these false thoughts on him and then when he couldn’t take it anymore… went out and made a very, very bad choice.

Oh yeah, another thing… his neighbors and I’m sure his co-workers will say the same thing about him… he was a “nice guy.”

Now, if you have been reading my previous posts, you should know by now that nice guys finish last in the race for attractive women.

And why? When you think about it, being nice to women means kissing their butts. It means putting them up on a pedestal, especially when they haven’t earned it. It means women will either be repulsed… or walk all over you because they own you.

Now, I am NOT saying to be a BAD guy! I’m saying that you have to be a man… a man that isn’t desperate… a man that is confident… a man that has a plan in life.

I hope you understand a little what I’m saying here man…

Another thing… approaching women… yes, it is very scary for MOST guys! Especially the women we are attracted too… it is something that society conditioned us as we were growing up… and we need to unlearn that. Because after all, it is perfectly fine to be attracted to women…

Actually, it is GREAT to be attracted to women… and women prefer that we are attracted to them.
