What I Learned from that ShamWow Guy

Well, I guess I am scrapping the bottom of the barrel with this example… but I just wanted to show you why what most guys think it takes to get a wonderful woman… can actually be wrong-headed…
Let me explain…
You see, that ShamWow guy, Vince Shlomi, (I think he has another name too… why? I don’t know) but Vince… was literally splashed all over the news a couple of weeks ago…
But first, if you don’t know who he is… Vince sold millions of dollars worth of his extremely popular ShamWow! absorbent towels and the Slap Chop food chopper on info-commercials.
So I am almost positive that he is a multi-millionaire (he’s rich!).
Now I don’t want to take that away from him… good on him for figuring a way to get lots of people to buy his merchandise. It does takes talent to do that I’m sure.
He is a good talker… he is smooth… he looks alright on the TV… (but boy, his mug shot looks awful!).
Wait! Did I say mug shot? Well, I don’t know if he was charged or was a victim in this situation…
And what was the situation you ask? Well, you are going to regret it… but he paid some Miami prostitute $1000 bucks to do the nasty with him in the hotel room.
And somehow his tongue got stuck into her mouth and she bit it.
There was blood and some violence involved… ugh…
The first lesson is this… guys… don’t go through the hooker route… for two good reasons… one is you have an excellent chance of picking up sexually transmitted diseases… and the other lesson of course is don’t stick your tongue inside the mouth of strange girls.
But the MAIN lesson we can take from this is… just because you are rich and famous… doesn’t necessarily mean you are a “hit” with women.
You see, women are WAY smarter than that… they don’t like creeps… and they certainly are not all enamored with wealth and celebrities either.
I’m sure it does help in some cases… if you are George Freakin’ Clooney.
So why is this post so important? I wanted to point it out… if it wasn’t obvious enough… there are OTHER factors involved in how women choose their partners.
It can be wealth, fame or looks. But from all the books and interviews that I have done… the #1 thing that most women look for a guy to decide whether or not he is a potential mate… is…
CONFIDENCE IN HIMSELF!!
And when it comes to women… a lot of guys just blow it when they approach her. They either talk themselves out of meeting her as they get closer to her…
Or they stammer and stutter if they do get closer to her. For some women… it could be construed as “cute.” But for most women… it will be taken as lack of self confidence and possibly creepy. They can’t get away fast enough…
I think one of the best ways a guy can become a woman’s romantic hero… is to teach himself how to approach her boldly and with utter confidence.
And no matter what obstacles she or her friends may throw at you… you will not be ashamed and especially lose your confidence. Wouldn’t it be great if rejection was no big deal to you?
I’ll tell you this, I rather use George Clooney as my role model… instead of that ShamWow guy… it just makes a lot of sense.
So, why not think of yourself as a George Clooney… watch his movies if you aren’t sure how to do it… and watch how he comes across as confident, approachable, and cool with the women.
