4th of July Party Tips for Lots of Fun
OK… the 4th of July is coming up fast… it is time… TO PARTY!!
I’m going to give you some advice and tips how to make it a GREAT one. Keep in mind that what you read here aren’t hard and fast rules. And if you have some great tips… be sure to share it with everyone else in the comment section below.
So the first thing you need to do is decide whether or not you want to have a party at your place. It helps to have a backyard and a BBQ grill.
I don’t want my international readers to feel a little left out. Make up an excuse and throw a party!
It is a great way to meet new people and potential dates for the future.
The trick of course is how you throw that party. If you are disorganized… it will reflect badly on the host and hostess… that would be YOU!
So plan the party well… don’t do it half baked.
The first thing to do is invite your best friends. And the rule of thumb is to invite 1 new person for every 2 good friends. This way, there are new people for everyone to meet and it won’t be boring.
And leading up to the party… be sure to invite MOTOS that you meet to the party. MOTOS is members of the opposite sex.
The next step of course is to actually INVITE your friends! Don’t just call ‘em up and say, whazzup!
It’s lame. Folks are busy. Design a nice card and mail it out to them to RSVP.
The next step is to PLAN the freakin’ party! Don’t leave your guests hungry or thirsty! THAT my friend is the best way to become a social pariah…
Not good at all…
So get lots of food and drinks.
And if you don’t know how to BBQ… find someone who can do meat right. Overcooked meat is a party killer…
Lastly, if it is legal in your area… get some fireworks. Be sure to hold it in a fireproof area so no fires get started.
Above all, have some fun! Since you are the host or hostess… you are in charge.
So what am I doing this 4th? Well, my good friend and I are going to have a fantastic BBQ and fireworks party next to the river. He owns the property and I’ll bring along my expertise. Lots of good folks and good food.
It’s gonna be fun! There is no excuse to be home alone anymore…
Have fun and be safe,
John
