Almost Free Romantic Dating Ideas Part 2


I wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me that having an ice cream and magazine date that I spoke about in the last blog post about almost free romantic dating ideas. The common theme of course is to talk… and talking is a lost art in this day and age of electronic communication.

It seems we are more comfortable with sending emails,  texts or calling rather than face-to-face communication. Did you know that some experts say about 90% of face to face communication is non-verbal? So you can imagine how much we are missing when we just reply to emails sent by someone we like.

So make some plans… grab your favorite ice cream flavors… and a fun magazine and head off to a quiet place where you can read to each other and laugh at the jokes you both will make… I mean come on… there is something funny about out of space aliens or some weird story about celebrities on a supermarket tabloid magazine… right?

I think they are just pure gold mines for humor… and you don’t even have to be that funny… just make some cute comments and you are good to go…

And if you are eating ice cream in a bowl… don’t forget to bring napkins and spoons…

Want some more romantic dating ideas that are almost free? Well, how about this one… walking along a beach. Not only it is romantic… but if there is a lot of people and things to see… folks love to bring all different breeds of dogs… so if you both are dog lovers… it can be the perfect opportunity to talk to the dog owners and ask interesting questions.

But if you are walking along the beach… you MUST take your shoes off and let the warm sand brush by your feet… while you are watching the waves crash against the rocks. And when the time is right… move in for a tender kiss… you could nibble at each others neck or shoulders while the sun is slipping below the distant horizon.

Now get to it… life is too short to stay home and watch the TV…
