Ideas for a Fun Date at Home Part 2
To continue my thoughts on ideas for a fun date at home… part 2. OK, how about going out to the backyard when it gets dark and putting out a blanket on the grass and lie down to watch the wonders in the heavens above. This is a great conversation start you know.
And if you do a little homework ahead of time… you can point out the interesting features in the sky… constellations… planets etc. And better yet… if you have a telescope… you can search and locate the gorgeous constellations for your date to look at… add a little color but don’t get too technical… the last thing you want to do is sound boring…
Another great romantic dating ideas is to rent a romantic movie and make some hot buttered popcorn to munch on. For those of you who like food spicy… ask your date if they like hot pepper flakes or herbs sprinkled on the popcorn for more taste.
And the romantic movies? Well, there are lots of them. You could even try the oldies such as “Casablanca” or “Night to Remember.” Or even try a scary movie. It is a GREAT escuse to snuggle…
More great dating ideas would be to have a board game or two, cards, or jigsaw puzzles to work on. What you can do ahead of time is go to the local thrift stores or garage sales and find some good inexpensive games. For those of you would want to kick it up a notch… the winner gets a prize agreed by the both of you. How about a fantastic back rub?
Don’t forget to have a few snacks and beverages to make the game more enjoyable and fun.
