Back By Popular Demand – Workouts to Loose Weight
This is the first installment of how to lose body fat. And today I’m gonna talk a little about workouts to loose weight.
And of course, some of you are gonna ask, “But John! What does losing weight have to do with dating or relationships?” I would say EVERYTHING because losing fat is going to help your health, self esteem and sex life…
But before I do this… you MUST understand this one thing…
Most if not all diet and fat loss information on the Internet, bookstores and elsewhere is generally a steaming pile of horse apples.
Here’s the truth of the matter… 90% of your fat loss is going to come from what you eat. And the rest is due to your workouts.
That simply means you can work your buns off… but if you are eating crappy foods… it ain’t gonna happen.
Let me put it in visual terms for you… if you put ordinary fuel in a $250,000 high performance car… don’t be surprised if a Yugo passes you on the freeway.
Here is another concept to wrap your arms around… it is absolutely possible to sit down at a restaurant and easily consume 4,000 to 5,000 calories in one sitting!!!
Now if I went to a online calculator and keyed-in that I ran at a steady clip of 5 mph for 60 minutes… guess how many calories I burned? Only 633 calories!!
See? I would probably have to run one and a half hours to erase a big mac meal that is about 1,000 calories. Is it any wonder why the combination of lousy food choices and reluctance to workout led to increasing obesity and overweight epidemic?
Last time I looked, it was estimated that 66% of U.S. adults were either overweight or obese… and this was back in 2003-4! The numbers are probably higher now and probably similar in many other first world countries.
I will continue to talk about HOW to lose weight… the right way… without having to eat like a rabbit or live at the gym. But for now… focus on changing your diet rather than focusing on workouts to loose weight.

My suggestion? Don’t do stupid things to get on TV or Youtube… stick with high quality Belgian chocolates and stay away from fast foods.
