RIP Patrick Swayze September 14,2009
I knew the sad news was going to come any day now since Patrick Swayze announced last Spring that he was fighting his last battle with pancreatic cancer…
He was 57 years old.
I always thought of Patrick as a good guy…
He never seems to get in the news like lots of his fellow Hollywood actors have done. I admired him in the classic, “Dirty Dancing” with Jennifer Grey in 1987 and loved him in “Ghost” with Demi Moore in 1990. And this might be a little weird… but I also liked “Red Dawn” too… a survivalist movie…
And it appears that he faced his final battle with dignity and deserves our respect…
RIP Patrick Swayze and prayers to his family in their hour of sadness… I’m going to go watch Dirty Dancing again… because it is one of my favorite movie of all times.
