Now the truth of the matter is many folks are trying to make themselves sound more attractive than it would be the case on their profiles. Truth be told… online profiles is YOU marketing yourself to MOTOS (members of the opposite sex). And sure, you aren’t ever likely to read anything that is bad about a person on his or her profile.

Of course not!

But where I draw the line is when they really fudge a bit on their weight or other subjects that they are very sensitive about.

Which of course makes it an explosive situation when you meet that person in the real world. This is something to think about and expect from others sometimes.

My suggestion would to be honest as much as possible. Always highlight and make shine your best characteristics and features of course. And sure… it is OK to assume that whomever you are contacting with online is upfront and honest as well…

Until of course something doesn’t sound right and gives you pause.

But my point here is online dating is here to stay and it really works. You need to try it out for yourself and be positive about the whole thing. You may not find the right person right away… but eventually you will.
