Relationship Self Help Therapy You Can Do Yourself Part 1
Anyone who thinks they are “ready” for a relationship and will never have any of the associated stress, problems and conflicts that comes from having one is just kidding themselves.
This is why I decided to write this relationship self help blog post. You see, many if not most couples, won’t see a professional relationship expert to help them sort out the issues and solutions. The biggest culprit is probably money. Professionals do cost money. Another reason is probably the comfort level of telling some stranger about your most innermost problems.
But you can try to see if you can help yourself out…
And particularly… when your partner doesn’t feel compelled to come with you to a relationship counselor for advice… or is just being stubborn. The next best thing you can do is try to figure it out yourself. You could go to a relationship expert for good advice or to your local bookstore or library and check out a few relationship books.
There are lots of good ones out there… but sure… who really has all the time in the world to read enough books? Not me for sure… which is why I like to get the information that I need right away.
But I’ll tell you a little more about that in my next blog post…
Until then,
John
