RIP Farrah Fawcett 1947 – 2009
This is sad, sad news… I was aware that Farrah Fawcett was fighting cancer… but her death today kind of hit me a little hard…
You see, when I was a preteen back in the 70s… Farrah Fawcett was the hottest babe ever!
And boy, that body… that hair… that feminine grace she displayed as Jill Monroe, the blond angel on the ABC detective show, Charlie’s Angels.
Who cared if the show was stupid… and I admit it reallly was? Farrah was so hip, so cool that she had the biggest selling poster at the time.
And her smiling face bracketed with that impossibly curly mane looked down in just about every boy’s room around the world.
It really helped that she had a great body to go with the bikini she wore.
Sure, she left Charlie’s Angels too soon… after one year. A lot of us had our hearts broken… but we looked forward to her movie career… which by and large never panned out.
Farrah did find a movie niche later on as an vulnerable woman and made some fine dramas.
Her long time on-again and off-again paramour, Ryan Neal was there when she passed away at the hospital.
At times like this, it makes me realize that sometimes life is just too short. And no matter what happened in the past, you should never let that dictate your future.
So if you are in a unhappy relationship or have a difficult time finding the right person that you deserve… then you SHOULD make an effort to make changes!

But if you don’t do anything… nothing will change. So celebrate your life. NOW! Get off your butt and do something about it.
And Farrah, thank you for the memories… but I am going to move on and create the life I love to live.
